I am a visual artist from Sydney, Australia. My work is narrative in nature depicting the environment I live in. I am lucky enough to call the beautiful Northern Beaches of Sydney my home so the ocean and coastal living feature prominently in my work.

Most of my work is fairly small (6” square) using oil paint on board. My painting technique is generally ‘alla prima’, meaning I paint wet into wet, in one layer and generally in one sitting. I love the freedom that these small paintings allow me. It is not a huge time commitment so I can afford to be experimental. I can paint anything that appeals to me and if it does not work out, I simply wipe it off and start again.

I do generally have a large canvas on the go just to challenge myself and provide variety to my art practise. Seascapes are a favourite but I also love portraiture.
